Can i return Argos direct items to Argos store

Hiya

Someone purchased some items via argos direct which i no longer require however i would like to take them back to my local argos and swap for gift vouchers or other items is this possible.

  • As long as they aren't excluded and in an unused condition within 30 days with proof of purchase then it should be fine.

    When I did it I was told all I needed was the internet receipt number.

    It usually depends on how big the item is and whether they have storage space, check with the store first.

    I would think if someone else bought this for you, you might have trouble getting a refund even in gift vouchers because of money laundering laws.

    The label stuck to the box / blue bag counts as proof of purchase.
    Anything that isn't specified as home delivery only in the cat can go back to the store. At work we've accepted back a few home delivery only items but are strict on anything over 25kg per box must be picked up by argos direct from the customers house. Call the store first to make sure you don't waste a trip.
