Co-op have refunded me
I was quite stunned on Saturday morning to receive a letter from Co-op Bank stating that a loan I'd taken out didn't meet the Consumer Credit Regulations. They have refunded me all the interest I'd paid - £1500. These things never happen to me! Clearly I'm really pleased but it does feel wrong to get an interest free loan. I've already donated half the amount to charity and the rest will be put into savings.

It was money I didn't think I had - getting it was a bonus. So yes, I'd prefer to share that benefit with others. Being money-smart isn't the same as being tight! The charity is small and such an amount can go a reasonable way with what they do.0 -

Not everything is about moneysaving :money:"We act as though comfort and luxury are the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about” – Albert Einstein0 -
Did you tick the gift aid box?0

It's refreshing to see a post like this where the OP isn't asking about how to get more money from them, like in the other thread about this...
Well done0
