***UPDATE - gift vouchers may now only be used for 50% of the value of a purchase; From the BBC News Website:

"As far as gift vouchers are concerned, BHS said they would still be valid but may only be used for 50% of the value of the purchase.
For example, to use a £10 voucher, a customer would need to buy at least £20 worth of products."

Spend NOW before they are not accepted at all.

URGENT warning to anyone with BHS gift vouchers - spend them NOW!!!!

BHS has announced that it has filed for Administration, so now is the time to spend any vouchers that you have for the store. There is no guarantee as to how much longer they will be accepted, and once in administration there is a danger that they will stop accepting them at all, making them worthless.

There have already been reports on social media that gift cards are no longer working on their website - although I have not been able to verify this.

Don't gamble with your money, spend them now!

I feel incredibly sorry for the 11,000 members of staff who've worked hard through the recent uncertainty and through no fault of their own now face redundancy.

I really hope someone comes along and rescues them; I really do.
