Thanks for all your helpful suggestions.
My first thought was Iceland but they don't deliver to my area. But checking out Tesco online they have loads of stuff at decent prices.
I also picked up two Vienettos in our Coop the other day and apparently they do Artic rolls too - a blast form the past!
Yes shall get all frozen desserts so just thaw out them - might not be the cheapest but labour saving!!Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0 -
Well have cooked chicken drumsticks and frozen - plus a few chicken breasts and cut into chunks before freezing.
Have bought finger sized frozen !clairs and custard slices which are now in freezer.
Have a bag of ready to cook sausage rolls but not sure if they'd go soggy if I cooked them now to refreeze?
Niece kindly offered to do quiches and sandwiches.Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0 -

Thanks for asking.
Went really well thanks - sister did ham and also egg sandwiches, niece brought two quiches, son bought me a super birthday cake with Rupert Bear on the top! I did the basic stuff in the morning - cheese and pineapple, pickled onions on sticks, bread sticks, cut up mini pork pies, put out boiled eggs, sausage rolls and chicken legs.
Had frozen eclairs, custard slices, mini doughnuts and black forest gateau for sweet.
Amazed it all went so smoothly and wasn't even too bad afterwards - though I was the day before as hubby got down extra chairs form attic and I was out of puff wiping them down!
So there was no need to worry - easy to do and I'll be happy to do another one!

Sounds lovely, pleased you had a good day. At least now you know you can do it.
Good to hear you had some contributions from guests as well.0
