2nd job / p45 / p60 ?

I had a short term second job last year - it was only for a matter of a few weeks just to help someone out.
My tax code was split between my main job and my second job.
My questions are -
should I have received a P45 when I left the second job ? ( i did not)
should i have received a P60 from the second employer ( I did not)
will i receive back any overpayment of tax ?
many thanks xx

You should not have received a P60 unless you were employed by them on April 5th
Did you end the tax year on the split tax code for your main job?
What tax code is being used for your job now?0 -

should i have received a P60 from the second employer ( I did not) - In the absence of a P45 it could be that you were technically still an employee at the end of the tax year and therefore should receive a P60 in due course (they have till late May to issue P60 forms for 2015-16)

HMRC should arrange a repayment if tax has been overpaid. Contact them in any case in order to get all your allowance incorporated in the one tax code operated by your main (and currently only) employer.0 -

I received no P45 when I handed in my notice ( months ago ) and as far as I was concened I was no longer employed by them on April 5th.
I did end the year with a spilt tax code - I did try to call HMRC to get the code reverted back, but their phone line was constantly busy -so I emailed them -got not response.
My tax code on my main job is 692L - I rarely pay tax as im a very low earner.
The other employees in the ( 2nd job) company have already received their P60 - thats why Im a bit confused .
Im going to chase it up next week - but want to make sure I have the facts straight first.x0 -
