I've made a sponge cake to take for people at work tomorrow and the damn thing is stuck in the tin!
I greased the tin but didn't flour it as well. (was trying to multi task and forgot!) It's not a loose bottom tin and now the damn thing wont come out! What can I do?! They'll be expecting cake!
Thanks
Stacey

Allow it to cool a little. Use a knife around the sides, and if shallow enough a flexible spatula to start to ease around the edges of the bottom/top. Turn over and tap the base of the tin sharply. If it breaks a bit you could cover with icing/choccolate to disguise it?0
