Mis Sold a Loan
Comments

The Initial paper work I signed when I purchased the loan. The monthly payments were explained to me but they never told me what the total amount payable was, if they had i would NEVER have signed it ! .
Yet you did sign it not even knowing what the amount is? How does that make any sense?0 -
It wasn't mis-sold you just didn't read the credit document that you signed. Not every bit has to be explained its your responsibility to read the terms of any document before you sign them. If you had have asked those questions at the time they would have been answered.0

This forum is meant for seeking advice, I didn't realise it was for subjecting myself to !!!! taking, patronising and condescending replies. I think in the future I will seek advice from people in the legal sector who know what they are talking about and can actually advise me without trying to demean or patronise.0

You have been given good honest advice.
I don't see you have a case for miss selling. You could have asked what the monthly repayments were at the time.0 -

not reading or understanding before signing does not make it miss-sold
likewise ticking the box on websites that says "I have read and understood the terms and conditions" without reading them does not mean that you are not still bound by the terms and conditions
If you had not already missed payments and you had a good credit history you may have been able to choose to take a cheaper loan elsewhere to pay off the loan but that may be scuppered now
What exactly are you trying to achieve by admitting you entered into an agreement without reading or understanding what you were signing. Were you made to sign under duress? do you have limited capability that means you should not be allowed to deal with your own financial affairs?
Are you hoping they will just take the car back and write the debt off?
I think post 10 covers it really
Many people who use this forum, including me, have signed up for bad deals in the past and paid £££s more than they should have. I have kicked myself, blamed nobody but myself and learned from it0 -

Just because you didn't get told what you wanted to hear your away off in a huff?
You knew how much you were paying and how long for, even if you didn't read how much you were paying its not hard to do the calculation0 -
The no statements thing is worth complaining about. There's a potential interest write-off there!0

I will just say good luck to the OP. What I really want to say will get me banned.0
