Supernumerary teeth?

I had my wisdom teeth removed years ago because they were completely impacted and causing problems. When the right one came out the dentist cracked the tooth in front of it and it had to be removed too. The dentist said that it was a blessing really as my jaw arch couldn't support that amount of teeth and the orthodontist who did my braces years later agreed and tooth out my premolar on the other side.
Recently I've been getting jaw pain, warm to touch area etc and visited the dentist who took X-Ray's and I have another lower left wisdom tooth growing in!
My mouth is agony but the dentist can't remove it as it's close to a big nerve and there's a high chance I could get complications but it's so close to the back of my mouth I can't get a brush behind it, it's only partially come out but the dentist doesn't think there's space for it to fully erupt.
Does anyone have any suggestions for how to care for such a tooth?

These brushes are ideal to get around impacted wisdom teeth where conventional brushes won't fit http://www.dentaldirect.co.uk/TePe-Compact-Single-Tuft-Toothbrush/dp/B003JS8TZS?gclid=CI_E4bmCo8wCFY4y0wodBJcNUQ0

Oh I have one of those for my braces, never thought of using it for the weird extra freak tooth. I've been using a waterpik around it but my normal brush (oral
couldn't get into it 0
