Mortgage offer has been issued but broker asking for more information

So apparently the mortgage offer has been issued with The lender but now the broker has said my case has been submitted to compliance and they want my last 3 months bank statements for all my saving and current accounts as well as audit trail for my proof of deposit which was sale of property. It's all legit but can the broker pull my mortgage offer?

It depends whos compliance.
If it is his compliance then it should have no impact on your mortgage. If it is the lenders compliance then it could.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. I was very unfortunate that ours got pulled by the Mortgage Company for a random audit and then after offer it got pulled for a compliance check through the broker.
If everything is in order there is nothing to worry about, just answer the questions honestly and you will be fine. At least now I know that no one can come back and say they have missed something :-)0 -
Thanks it's the brokers compliance I believe it may be a network. I apparently had the mortgage offered yesterday.0

It wont affect your offer. Its not uncommon that I have to go back to clients for bits for my files, although to not have bank statements on file is not great from a compliance point of view.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. I'm baffled that the broker didn't ask for your bank statements before submitting the application.
Even if the lender didn't want them the brokers compliance network would almost certainly require them which they have presumably realised in a panic after the horse has bolted!
Your Offer should be fine, I can't say the same for your brokers blood pressure thoughI am a Mortgage BrokerYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Broker, so you need to take my word for it.
