It also makes no difference where the trains originate/terminate.
There have been examples of people who have been fined for that publicised in the media.
the train MUST call at all the stations you buy tickets to and from0 -

Looks as though we'll have to delegate the booking to others when the time comes.
Still feels unfair that the (cycle) reservations may have already gone due to the customers with longer distances being able to book months before us.
I understand your point perfectly, however I don't think the cycle spaces often get fully booked up that far in advance. The trains on the East Coast have spaces for five bikes (or three on some trains - are these the HSTs?).
How many bicycles will you all have?0 -
I notice also on a recent trip on the West coast mainline to London that they have installed ticket barriers so you have to show the QR code on the ticket to the barrier for you to get on /off the platform.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

The weekend we travel down is the weekend of an amateur national cycle race in and around London.
Having being caught up in this journey (on that weekend) the last three years I would bet the house that the cycle slots will once again be all taken for those (not us!!) taking part.
Hence our need to book slots.
Anyway it seems we're out of luck booking so will turn off the notifications and thank you all once again and chance our luck in a few weeks.0 -

Ah the weekend of the RideLondon events I assume (30/31 July). Yep, that puts a rather different complexion on things!0
