Lidl's are currently doing cheep beer, i bought 15 300 ml bottles of budweiser for £7.50 works out at 50p a bottle stock up for christmas or just enjoy our indian summer lol

This is an okay deal, but Tesco are currently doing 20 x 300ml bottles of Budweiser for £10, so also 50p a bottle.

The best current deal is probably at Sainsbury's where they are doing 20 x 275ml bottles of Carlsberg Export for £7.49. In Tesco, the 20 x 275ml bottle packs of Carlsberg Export come with an extra 4 bottles of Carlsberg Edge for free, so if Sainsbury's have these packs, you could get 24 bottles for £7.49.

I used to organize and promote punk gigs in the southwest, used to pay the local support bands in lidl beer. They loved it! Don't overlook their own label beers, some real bargains there.

I recently visited Lidl for the first time and bought some very nice German Pilsner lagers there.

I found the idea of it just being a shop with cheap produce stacked up rather refreshing after the mainstream supermarkets and their obsession with presentation and cafes etc.
