Rebanding on previous property

Hi All,
I've had a little search but have been unable to find out if you can attempt a rebanding on a property you no longer live at.
The reason being is that I meant to kick off the process on my old house, but never quite got around to it. I've since moved, and wondered if I can still do it. Or, can you only do it for a property you currently reside in.
Thanks in advance,
Dan

You can only ask for a rebanding of a dwelling for which you pay Council Tax. You would have to ask present occupiers of your previous house to challenge the band.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0
