Payplan not taken payment

We had our annual review on the 18th and have increased our amount. Our DD was due to go out today which it did'nt . I have rang Payplan they said we should have been told the DD was to late to change this month. But why wasn't the old payment taken this month??? Any way will check bank account tomorrow if not taken will make a payment by debit card as per what Payplan has adviced.
My question is will this late payment upset our creditors? Will Payplan try to take double next month? Sorry for rambling on it's been one of those weeks with Payplan issues lol.

Your creditors are already "upset"...whatever that means...I didn't think companies had emotions. Anyway, the fact is you've already defaulted on your credit agreement when you initially went with Payplan and stopped making the agreed payments and that has been recorded with the credit reference agencies. You can only default once. They cannot record another default against your credit agreement for missing a further payment. They will not take you to court for one missed agreed payment. You would need to miss many more for them to even consider taking you to court and that's only if they feel it's worth taking you to court. Most creditors will just write the debt off after a period of time.

I would not make the payment at all.

:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p
