I particularly like the Quick Balance feature. The full web based online banking facilities are superb, with a nice calendar view of when transactions have occurred being a nice touch. So far I'm really pleased.
Oh and Apple Pay is the icing on the cake!
Do they offer the switch service once the account is open and running?SPC 8 (2015) #485 TOTAL: £334.65

Hi Owlet
Yes that's what I did. Once the account is up and running if you log into internet banking there is a Switch account section, and you do it all through there.0 -

Can I just ask how long it took for people to get anything from nationwide. I applied for the flex basic on the 6th May, it said I was accepted and would get details in the post but now its the 16th and I've received nothing apart from 2 emails

I'd give them a ring to check the status. I sent a secure message (online though my old log in) yesterday to check the status and they have replied that they have sent documents in the post for me to sign and once they have received them back, the account will be opened.SPC 8 (2015) #485 TOTAL: £334.65

I applied for a Flexdirect and it took nearly 3 weeks for all the bits and pieces (card, reader, account numbers etc) to arrive. There were no problems - just took a while, the account was on the MSE 'top accounts' list so maybe they were just busy.0

I applied on the 11th andtoday received the paperwork to sign and send back. My sort code and account number were supplied too. It said once they have received this then the card, pin & card reader will be sent out. I'm guessing it should all be done and dusted in about ten days.SPC 8 (2015) #485 TOTAL: £334.65

Nationwide have just updated their phone and tablet apps, and these are now much improved in my opinion. On a par with the Barclays one, and allow fingerprint recognition.0
