Help to Buy Equity Loan Mortgage Lenders

Hello,

I know the best advice is to go with a broker...but so far I seem to have one who is pretty clueless...

Is there a list anywhere of all of the mortgage lenders which offer HTB Equity Loan products - I can find one for the Mortgage Guarantee lenders!

Thanks,
Millie

    Because there isn't one probably.

Why do you think such a list will be useful to you? H2BMG status does not directly affect you as the borrower.

The money supermarket website has a list on (apologies I'm not allowed to post a direct link to the page!).

I know for certain the below do:

    Natwest
    Halifax
    Santander
    Skipton BS
    Accord
    Precise
    Aldermore

    Accord?

Since when has any YBS Group member offered shared equity products?

Not sure mate, that's what my mortgage advisor said when he listed the lenders to us when we started our application process (unless I misheard).

Nationwide were also on the list, along with a couple of other building societies.

We've had a nightmare with acceptable incentives so make sure you do some research on acceptable incentives with the lenders before making a final agreement with the builder!

Yes. You need to ensure you pick the right lender for HTB Equity Loan and the level of builder cash incentives you have agreed.

As many (HTB EL) lenders don't accept them, or limit what they will accept, it is essential you match the right lender to the right reservation.

Accord does not offer shared equity products, so no HTB Equity Loan applications.
