    Hi,

good news if your SOA is accurate then you can get yourself debt free.

Bad news - i doubt that your SOA is accurate as it doesnt include child benefit. Your debt is increasing but you patently have spare cash - therefore it cant be right. You are sitting on a ticking timebomb as your 0% cards will stop. yopu wont be able to shift them and you will be crippled.

    1. So re visit your SOA.
    2. STOP worrying about your credit score. You have a debt emergency which could well destroy you. Focus upon that.
    3. Ring stepchange or National Debtline.
    4. Destroy all of your credit cards.
    5. Partner needs to develop an income.

Dont panic. You will be able to find your way out of this. There is no silver bullet. It took years to get into this position and you cant get out of it in a few days, but with planning, determination and hard work you will get out and you will thrive. You will buy a house (just not any time soon). The first step is to clear up this big huge pile of debt that you have aquired. Chin up, focus on the long term not the short term.

Just to add it is admirable that you are supporting your family - it's not easy and it must be hard going from no responsibility to all the bills and a mortgage and two kids. The thing I struggle with is that your partner feels it's acceptable to expect you to pay for everything. She should be contributing to the family income.
I also find it shocking how much you're paying to do up a rented property. It's not your responsibility. Carpets and furniture are not an emergency.
We don't think you're an idiot. We're all here for the same reason :) we want to help you. What you're doing isn't working but you will find what does and get out of this hole xxx

How old are the kids? Are they in school? A job at a supermarket, school, part time cleaning etc would be good for your partner to do that works well around children.
