Bounts- Aargh! Any help please?

To be fair my main issue isn't with Bounts, is with the App I work it with, Moves. Following an update I'm losing 30% of my steps or worse. On my most active day, Samsung health recorded 20,000 steps, while Moves recorded about 9,000.
I don't go to the gym because I have horses and dogs and this is where my activity is, and I don't have a fitness watch thing, so none of the other apps seem appropriate for my needs, I know it's not a massive deal but it's kinda hurting my motivation that I can't get a point when I'm meeting my target.
I've messaged bounts to ask about whether I could use another app I've not come across and got a load of advice on how to fix problems with the bounts app which is obviously not the issue!
Any one able to suggest an alternative app please?

I think everyone is having the same issue since Moves updated. Unfortunately there are no other strp trackers that work with bounts. Im hoping Moves will fix it0

The problem with Moves is that it doesn't count steps under 30 seconds, so all those incidental steps, like short trips to the printer, water cooler etc. get taken off the count. This can add up to 100s or 1000s of steps in a day.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

Stop counting steps
Stop downloading apps
Stop overcomplicating something thats very simple
Get outside and go for a jog, or go swimming, or a cycle ride.......
30 minutes hard exercise 3 or 4x a week with a good nutition plan will get you much better results.

As the others have said Moves is just unreliable lately.
My Misfit Shine records between 10k and 15k steps a day but Moves averages 7k-9k. I work in hospitality so spend most of my day walking around the building I work in.It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I'm having the same problem! Today I gave up with Moves and tried using the MapMyWalk app instead. It worked brilliantly, but it's only any good if you're doing a brisk walk. Whereas the requirement from the Moves app to get the Bounts points is 7,000 steps, the MapMyFitness app requires 20 minutes of walking at above 4km/h average speed. It is slightly disconcerting though when your phone starts talking to you!
If you're mainly using it whilst walking your dogs they also have a MapMyDogWalk app. On the Bounts site they come under MapMyFitness in the Exercise Trackers section of MyApps.0
