3 days to completion - Ordered BT Line

Ok, so I'm now thinking I've made a major error.
I complete this Friday.
Last Friday I started to organise things for the house (it's vacant possession) - Insurance etc. I also ordered a BT line to minimise the wait after Completion for it to be installed.
This obviously involved a credit check.
My lender is TSB and I have a spotless credit record.
I can see, from other posts, that the advice is not to take out ANY form of credit before Completion.
Have I !!!!ed up ?

Level on panic regarding credit checks on this forum is shocking. Are you seriously afraid that your mortgage could be stopped because BT run search on you? Probably Id check not credit anyway.0

You haven't taken out credit - you've applied for a phone line.
Even if, in the remote possibility that TSB looked at your searches between now and Friday ( and it is a very, very remote possibility), your applying for a phone line would make no difference to your offer.
So relax!Early retired - 18th December 2014

I agree, I would have thought it unlikely but paranoia is a friend of mine.
The search is a 'hard' one. Clearscore is marking it as a negative as I have had a 'few searches' in the last 12 months - the only other 2x being a mortgage application last June where the house sale never went through.
