Clydesdale Bank Mortgage Timescale?

I was just wondering if anyone had recently processed a new mortgage through Clydesdale Bank? We've submitted our application via our broker and Clydesdale have taken the mortgage valuation payment from my account a couple of days ago.
Just any information at all on how quick/slow they are these days?
Thanks

Snap.
My wife and I made an application to Clydesdale on the same day.
They took the money for the valuation on the 21st, we were credit-checked and passed on the 3rd of May, valuation was done on the 6th and we received a copy through the post on the 7th. When I chased with our broker yesterday, he confirmed that the valuation was fine and that a copy had been sent to our solicitor.
The feedback I've had has been that everything has been fine (I've worked for a credit reference agency for the last 15 years, so am fastidious about my credit score and affordability), and that our application is just waiting for final underwriting.
Seems like they're a bunch of "it'll be tomorrow" merchants - I've been told several times since last Friday that there would be a decision within 48 hours which hasn't materialised.
Getting a bit frustrated - if our broker had told us they were this shambolic I'd have gone with HBOS for the extra £60 or so a month...0 -
