Has anyone had experience of a good financial advisor or mortgage adviser.
Second time round buying and having same nightmare as last time. Get promised the world when In reality they can get nothing.
House price £183k
Deposit £45k
One years self employed book's £32k profit can have second year sa302 same profit.
Good credit history only bill is finance on car of £152pm 2yrs remaining.
Looking for repayment mortgage
Would prefer single application but can do joint if necessary
Partner debt free only downside is one missed Payment for £5 that is being dealt with.
Please any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

I'd say that's at the limits of affordability it must be close to 4.5x and the car payment isn't helping. Is there a balloon payment at the end? The mortgage lender for my daughter took that into account as well.
You ask for a good broker but in the words of the Rolling Stones you can't always get what you want, and maybe it's the basic numbers that's the issue not the broker.0 -
Already had a mortgage turned down last month by precise mortgages. When oh phoned them and asked reason they said it was because he could not prove that we were NOT married. I changed my name to his 12 years ago and have the change of name deed. This confused us a bit of a strange reason for a mortgage to be turned down?0

Thank you for the reply
No balloon payment at the end of car finance.
Appreciate what you are saying that it could be the figures but they have known the figures of house price, deposit, income ext from day one and have always said yes it's not a problem. They even emailed him a decision in principle for £162k With a different mortgage company??0 -
Ok fair enough, what happened then did they turn it down ? Where are you located ?0
