Vivatic/Crowdflower not paying?

I've completed 45 tasks last night for Crowdflower via Vivatic, it says 40p per task. I checked my Vivatic account today and i've been credited with 0.01p per task?! Why? :mad:

What task was it that promised you 40 pence per task? Most CF tasks are shown in dollars and cents, or points if the site uses those.

It was "Decide If Audio And Text Are Identical." - it definitely said 40p per task! 100% sure

There is a higher paying version of that task, but the one that allows you to do lots with about 10 items per page pays something in the region of 0.70 to 1cent typically. It is currently showing with a limit of around 200 tasks on it.

Is it remotely possible that it was 0.40 therefore meaning .4 of a penny?

I don't do Vivatic but CF tasks appear on lots of different sites - I use Instagc, Neobux and Crowdflower Elite - and I've been doing CF tasks for over 5 years so I'm pretty familiar with most of their regular tasks.

Yes the one I did had about 10 per page and had 199 tasks available. I'm almost certain it was 40p per task - i'll try to see if I can find any reference to this though as the job is no longer showing for me!

just realised it says 0.40p! it means 0.40 instead of 40p...ooops! bit misleading though!

I guessed as much. I'm not familiar with Vivatic so I don't know their points structure etc - I am familiar with CF and whilst there are sometimes level 3 tasks that pay well, it is typically for something more complex. All the sites I work on use a dollar/cents or points payment scheme.

CF can be lucrative however, you just need to build up your levels and perhaps look at some other sites that might give you more money for the same tasks. There is a good thread on here about CF that might be worth you dipping into.
