I'm paid weekly as a contractor but on PAYE. I have just had my first paycheque of the new tax year that has been a complete 40hrs (I've had some time off previous weeks) and was expecting roughly the same as last tax year, but have noticed I am now £80 a week down, a not insignificant amount. Select this option if applicable on the P50
I don't expect to go back to work (including part-time or casual employment) before the start of the
new tax year on 6 April. I don't get a pension from my old employer and have not claimed any of the
taxable benefits listed on page one.
