PCN Do I even have grounds to appeal?

Received a windscreen PCN issued by CPS (Midlands) while parked outside the Climbing Centre by the Old Staples sight,
I parked there to use the Running shop the other side of Huntington Street,
The wife actually asked if it was a good idea before leaving the Van, I said yeah! even after seeing the signage, I took a risk and I lost,
I see no real reason to appeal but I guess that means I shouldn't consider it?
Should I pay up the smaller "fine" or should I actually follow the appeals procedure?

Read the NEWBIES thread about how to appeal as KEEPER not talking about what happened/who was driving.Should I pay up the smaller "fine" or should I actually follow the appeals procedure?
If you pay this bunch, we'll give you a virtual slap for supporting the scam against the next victim!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You parked on private land against the wishes of the landowner, either breach of contract or trespass.
But, does the PPC have the right to demand that sort of money? Was the site adequately signed. Were the signs compliant with POFA, does the PPC have planning permission for the signs, how about advertising permission, was v.a.t. properly raised?
Unless the PPC can tick all the boxes you do not owe them a penny, so, yes, you do have grounds for appealing. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
He doesn't owe them a penny anyway TD, this lot do not tick all the boxes.
As it was a van, do you own the van, Tacopowell or is it company owned?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

An update for anyone who'd be happy to help advise me,
As you can see I recieved my PCN on site back in April, I left it, awaiting my 'Notice to keeper'
Nothing......until today.....
From TNC Parking Charge Services,
Outstanding Parking Notice
Haven't they already stumbled at their first hurdle by missing a step and leaving it so late?0 -
If this is a windscreen PCN issued by a parking cowboy on-site - presumably for leaving the site - then haven't they failed in their duty to mitigate by not simply shouting out "Sorry mate! No parking here for non-customers!"?0

Any more for any more?0

I assume you made the initial appeal as keeper you mention back in April.
Correct, by not issuing a NTK within the POFA timeframe they not claim keeper liability. Oh hang on, TNC. Aren't they debt collectors? The original PCN was from CPS Midlands.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

No initial appeal was made, I was told to wait for the Notice to Keeper....Which never appeared, This was the first contact I've had since the original PCN....0 -

Who told you to wait for the NTK? Normally we advise people to appeal so the PPC forget to send an NTK.
Luckily in this case it doesn't matter as the NTK is late which is almost as good as not getting one at all, but it's usually better to appeal a windscreen ticket.
I suggest you rely to CPS midlands, not TNC and tell them that this is the first the keeper has heard of it and therefore consider it to be the NTK. Then point out it is too late to invoke keeper liability so they should FRO as they have no prospect of success.
Ignore anything and everything you get after that except real court papers.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.
