MoneySaving Poll: What one cuisine could you live off for life?

What one cuisine could you live off for life?
Pizza dominates our restaurant vouchers – after all, the mark-up on bread and tomato is huge so there's room to reduce prices. Yet it got us talking of a somewhat far-fetched scenario, which for fun, we wanted to share.
Imagine you're stuck on a desert island for life. There's a food replicator to make you anything you want, BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER & DESSERT, but the setting's stuck on one cuisine.
Which would you choose…?

Might be more amusing if you narrowed it down to one dish rather than one cuisine.
Chinese for me as it has enough variety to keep me interested.
I'd be surprised if it was not top of the poll by the end of the week.0 -

British food covers a wide range of food so I'd go with that.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Italian - we already mostly eat Italian anyway as I have all the Gino D'Acampo books; the ingredients are cheap, the meals are easy and it's very healthy. For the desert island scenario, there's also loads of variety0

Surprising results so far :eek:0

Italian, as it doesn't just mean pizza, but a healthy Mediterranean diet, with loads of lovely vegetables.Member #14 of SKI-ers club
Words, words, they're all we have to go by!.
(Pity they are mangled by this autocorrect!)0 -
You missed out Persian cuisine
That is my favourite and I cook it a great deal - I love that so much and now my husband and sons also love it after I've cooked it many, many, many times for them!
So I had to vote British as 2nd choice!0 -
