Hi,
I took out a personal pension with black horse life thirty or more years ago, I have not had contact with them for many years, who do I now contact, write to, to see about this pension.

Many thanks
Greg.

Black Horse Life was Lloyds in-house brand until they bought Scottish Widows. Then they rebranded the old Black Horse Life stuff under the Scottish Widows brand.

They send out an annual statement on their products. Although they need your current address for you to get it. So, give SW a call... actually don't. Put it in writing as SW service centre is a nightmare.

General customer service address here http://www.scottishwidows.co.uk/about_us/location/dalkeith_road.html

although it seems there is a special enquiry line for pensions...

To be fair to SW, a year or two back ,I needed to deal with the surrender of an old endowment policy and found them astonishingly efficient - the proceeds were in my Lloyds account almost before I could turn round!
  • That's great, many thanks, let's see how I get on.
