How does a pension affect CSA calculation

Can anyone tell me how a tax free pension (due to being medically discharged from the forces) affects the CSA calculation?

Has anyone got any links to find the information?

Assesment is based upon income, whether it's salary or pension, that is always quite clear on the documentation easily available.

Thanks miss worrier. I had come across some threads on the internet that said they don't use the pension from being medically discharged, but unsure where they got the info from
