Will a DMP affect my Credit Score?

I have a DMP with CCCS and have had for a year and have been paying by direct debit each month with no problems. Im applying to rent a flat and was wandering if this might look very bad when they do a credit check?
Thanks in advance

Get copies of your credit reports and see whats on them.
Usually on a DMP, your creditors will default your accounts so your credit rating is trashed for 6 years.
Whether this will afffect renting is difficult to say.. agents often check credit records but it all depends. Private landlords wont check in general.0 -

Thank you both, I've already applied for my reports so just waiting for them to arrive now. I'm just panicking that I will be rejected for rental when I have to move out of my current accomodation in a few weeks. (Not due to anything I've done, because the landlord wants to move back in)0
