Myprotein gift cards

Hey all
just a note about gift cards for myprotein
if you buy or get given a gift card for this site, you cant use it in conjunction with any sale or promotion, might not seem strict, but if your loving family member spends £30 on a giftcard for you, given that my protein pretty much constantly run a 3for2 or 30% off, you basically have to either choose to pay full price for the products or half your gift card goes down the pan. mh
bit strange if you compare it to any other high street retailer, imagine if topman told you you cant use your giftcard on any sale items! or sainsburys said you cant use it on any 3for2 or bogof!!
really sneaking thing to do imho, if someone pays cash for a giftcard, it should be worth face value to be spent as pleased, otherwise,,,,,just give cash.

Wish I'd googled this before giving my son a £50 gift card. You would think like all other gift cards it could be used like cash, but no, not with myprotein, you have to enter it as a discount code so as they have 40% off at the moment you have to pay full price as no two discounts can be used. I think it's time they were scrapped. Total con.0
