Megabus - big release of £3 tickets for summer 2016

Megabus have released tickets for travel on many if not all UK Megabus routes (excluding journeys wholly within Scotland) up to and including Sunday 2 October.

Megabus state they have made one million £3 fares available across the summer.

Normally the booking horizon for Megabus services is 60 days ahead of travel though this can vary, but as of today this is 171 days ahead (i.e. up to the 3rd October) so this is a good time for early birds to bag some cheap travel for the summer.

Worth noting that the £3 ticket offer only applies to Megabus coach services, and excludes megatrain, megabusplus, megabusGold services and Megabus tickets offered on Oxford Tube services.
(However, it looks like at least some megabusGold services can now be booked up to 3rd October, just with the normal starting price of £15 - again perhaps useful to know for early bird bookers.)
