Spend limit is £2.10 --- a lottery ticket is £2, so no reason it can't be posted [STRIKE]as you only need to buy 1 ticket[/STRIKE] as there is a FREE entry for NI & IOW residents

As many already play the lotto each week, I wouldn't think that matters - you could just put "proof of purchase".

But then lots of people buy coffee that costs £4 (just an example) but if there's a comp on it then it can't be posted.

I don't see why there is a limit on here to be honest, we are all adults (at least in age) and can make a decision on whether we want to purchase any item. I've bought a different brand of butter before as there was a comp on there.
    Thanks to all posters :A

Does this mean I should have saved my losing tickets this week?
Stupid ripoff I wish I'd never started doing it.

  • Note: If you purchase your lottery tickets online (even by direct debit) then you are automatically entered in to each draw.
You've got to be in it to WIN IT

Totally agree. There is quite clearly a difference between "competitions that you need to purchase an item to enter", and "competitions that you pay to enter" and it seems this forum can't tell the difference! If for eg. you buy a jar of coffee and enter the competition, you've still got the coffee that you paid for, the comp was just an added extra. If you pay say £1.50 to enter a text competition, you've literally got nothing for your money other than the comp entry. That's why I rarely if ever enter pay to enter comps, but often enter purchase ones. As, no matter whether I win or not, I've still got the product that I actually paid the money for! It's ridiculous!
