Is there money to make from Earnhoney in the UK?

Having given up on Perk, I have two orphaned smartphones that I don't know what to do with.
I joined Earnhoney because I've read reviews from UK users making $1 a day per device. At the moment there's no Android app but videos can be played on mobile Chrome.
Problem is there are no ads for the videos, and no ads no points. This on mobile, but I was told there are ads on the PC.
I was already thinking of buying a laptop but I'm not in a hurry. Even if I could make 50 cents by running the laptop all night, I would be happy.
Is anybody already using Earnhoney on a PC, or anybody willing to be a guinea pig and see how much can be made?

Running a laptop all night and earning 50 cents is a poor idea.
Even if it only uses 100 Watts, thats 1.2kw hours energy over 12 hours, which would cost around 15p.0 -

According to npower, the average cost of a laptop a year is £4.

OK, I've managed to find a friend who lent me a laptop for an hour. I can see the ads on her laptop and the point counter progresses accordingly. So the problem is with Android, then.0

LOL No-one sensible can be that desperate to make 25p per night! Besides the thought of buying an expensive item like a laptop just for that. And the long-term damage you'd do to it by running it like that without a break.
It's not very responsible to say that you don't pay for the electricity or wifi so it doesn't matter. I presume that means you are living at home with your parents. You might like to ask them what they'd think about you doing that and how much their bills will be because of it.Minimalist

What do you mean "Even if it only uses 100 Watts"? A desktop might use 100w, but that would be a lot for a laptop. 12w would be more like it.
Well, according to https://secure.www.upenn.edu/computing/resources/category/hardware/article/computer-power-usage their selection of laptops use between 40-100 Watts. So 12W would be low. Desktops will obviously use rather more, that's why they have 3-400W power supplies (add to that the power to the monitor, printer etc)
But even at 10W it's still hardly worth it, given the cost of the laptop, depreciation etc etc,0 -
Thanks all posters for derailing this thread with useless rants. Is there anybody who can contribute?0

Have you looked at apptrailers also called appredeem? You can find it on the playstore.
I have it running on my old phone and on a tablet. I dont use it constantly but have had pay outs into paypal from both phone and tablet with no problem. You do have to click per video though which might put you off .0 -
Yes, I spent £1000 on a new superfast laptop, then used 15p electricity and wi-fi costs per night running it, and made 25p, so I made my money back in a mere 28 years.
Ciaccino, what more is there to say? If you are likely to make 50cents a day, you can do the maths yourself. No-one here seems to have used Earnhoney and I seriously doubt anyone is going to sign up and try it out purely for your benefit.
If you have access to another computer why not try it out and see for yourself?0
