I sent a cv to a company yesterday would it seem pushy if I ran them to make sure they got it and hopefully discuss the vacancy further with the person I sent it to. I'm really keen on that job

Typically you'd ring before sending your CV.0

I'd leave it a week at least, sometimes it can show you are tenacious but to call immediately I'm not sure is fair or wise. Just my opinion x0

more than likely you'll get through to the PA who knows just about as much as the job ad says anyway.0

I'd also advise to leave it a while before contacting the company.
There's a company close by to me I'm really eager to work for. I've not been successful yet but the lady in Recruitment sent me some helpful links to help me in any future applications I make.
In my case applications closed around the third week of March and I left it a fortnight before contacting her to find out what's what. It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0 -
