Erudio - apply for deferment online!

Apologies if anyone already posted this, but on the letter that came with my DAF there is a web portal address that people can apply for deferment through. I thought this might be useful to anyone worried about when the paper form will finally reach them.

erudiostudentloans.co.uk/portal

You need to register with some personal details but it only takes a couple of minutes and then you can go through and apply for deferment, although you do need any supporting documents in the formats specified.

I hope this saves a few people from sleepless nights waiting for the postie!

i would strongly suggest anyone contemplating this researches what this portal is and what extra data you are giving erudio/arrow global before doing this!

before you defer online I suggest you read some of the posts entitled Erudio student loans help. You may sign away some of your rights by agreeing to use the online portal.

I'd strongly advise against using the portal for the reasons posted above.

Thanks for the advice guys. I'll request a paper deferment application form.
  • Just as an update, I used the online portal myself this year and it didn't seem to ask for any more information than the paper form. I didn't investigate though.
