Disablity travel card with carer

Our local council has cut transport to college for disabled young people . How does this affect Y.P incapable of travelling alone and needs someone to travel with them- not able to speak and plan /no road safety etc. College starts before disabled bus pass starts off peak.
How does it work? Basically travel costs are double to that of a typical student as it includes 6 trips compared to 2 per day( carer has extra 2 trips)

Have you asked your council those questions?

If you feel the council are unfairly treating you, or all disabled students, perhaps you can enlist the help of your local councillor.
