FGW season ticket questions...

(am hoping to ask the very same Q.s to FGW staff, but it won't do any harm to have asked you lot first...)
Q.1 - is it possible to buy a single season ticket that runs between specified dates? I work term-time only, so for example this term's season ticket should be from Monday 11 April up until Friday 27 May.
Q.2 - is it possible to use any other discount when buying a season ticket - I have a senior railcard?

1) Yes. A monthly season ticket can be purchased for any period from one month to one year - starting and finishing when you like. See here.

2) railcard discounts cannot be applied to season tickets. See here.

Split ticketing may offer an opportunity, but that obviously depends on your journey.
