Looking at the questions on one of their recruitment sites, don't expect to have a work life balance. They seem to want you to put them first all the time. Which is fine if you're happy with that. Wouldn't suit me.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
If your willing to show you can do the work/put the effort in then you can go far. Overtime will depend on how many staff the store has and if any hours are available. Busiest periods are obviously easter and Christmas so overtime is more likely during them periods.
Depends if you like hard work eg start at say 5 am and finish at say 4.0 -
Thanks for replies. Does someone here work there and got promoted? I'm interested in career progression.0

Their graduate scheme may be appropriate?0

Problem is, I graduated 12 years ago with 2:2 in Economics, so I don't think I qualify.0

I worked at ALDI ten years ago but as a store assistant. As a deputy you will have to really get stuck in which will mean pretty much doing what everybody else in the store does as they run with very low levels of staff.
You'll have to stack shelves, serve customers, take deliveries etc. It's not a job where you can hide away in the office.
They pay well and career progression is very good but it's not a job for everybody. I decided a career in retail was'nt for me, dealing with the public, working weekends, very early starts etc. No thanks0
