  • Morning :)

I spent a bit more than planned yesterday after OH and I decided to eat out (I suppose we're making the most of being able to) and got a some new mugs, couple of throws and a kitchen clock for the new house.

So definitely a NSD today. Walking around yesterday seems to have aggravated my SPD so it's going to be easy to stay home today.

I think its going to be an NSD for me

OH did some food shopping last night so I shouldnt have the need to spend anything and the car has enough petrol for two weeks :)

    Good morning PaP, and everyone:hello:

I'm about a bit earlier than yesterday - but not as early as you PaP

I WILL need to go out, this morning, so I'll post my spends later.

    Hi,

I'm new, can I join in? I'm planning a NSD today, possibly a first ever :)

Oh, and I reckon (although I've only just started playing the game, so I may be talking nonsense) that if you've budgeted for something, it doesn't count... Is that right??

    Hi
Do you mind if I join in? I've been lurking for a while and although I'm not in debt I will soon be taking a big pay cut so I'm preparing for it.
I've had NSDs on Monday and Tuesday - this has never happened to me before!! Unfortunately I will have to buy something for my lunch today, as I got up late this morning (and got stuck in traffic, but that's another story!) but I still have £10 left from my food budget so I'll use that.
Does that mean it will still be a NSD technically?
Here is my budget ideas at the moment:
Take out £100 every Saturday. Put £40 in one purse for going out money, put £20 in another purse for food budget and the remaining £40 is for 'unecessaries' like magazines, clothes, eating out etc, or for saving if left over at the end of the week. I've also budgeted £30 a week for diesel and all bills and direct debits are bugeted for.
Does this sound alright to you? I'm a 26 year old woman (nearly 27  ) and I currently live on my own.

    :hello: Hi all,

Well saved £400 at the dentist this morning by opting to go to hospital for a general anaesthetic instead of doing it at the dentists (better all round because I'd worked myself up so much as soon as he said 'surgical removal' I burst into tears! but I will have to wait in pain for up to 7 months)

Spends - £2 or so on halfday parking when I have to move my car later, £3.05 on jacket potato and diet coke for lunch (HAVE to get organised and make my own)
£5 ish on mouthwash and floss
    £1.00 on jobs papers
£10 max on stocking up in the Holland & Barrett sale.

too much but will have to get organised soon!

    C xx

I've been away from 'ere since Thurs, but haven't anything too naughty and unbudgeted to declare (Though OH and i had budgeted £50 for drinks at wedding on Sat, but didn't spend anything so went out for romantic dinner instead on Sunday! - naughty).

Will update my spending later, but certainly not a NSD here. x
