Discharged in March 2013 - chance of car loan?

Hi,

Quick query. What are my chances of gaining a loan to buy a car? Would be looking to get a loan of around 8K. I am aprehensive of approaching a garage in case of being turned down for credit when trying to purchase.

Anyone have any similar experiences?

To be honest - probably not great. A lot will depend on how good your money management has been since your BR. Have you done the file clean up and electoral role stuff?
There are a couple of companies that advertise car credit for those with poor credit scores (just google) but the interest rates are at credit card levels (and beyond!)
Do you need to spend so much? Another 3 years wait and a squeaky clean 6 year history may be the best way.
