Asda's price guarantee scheme gives customers a voucher towards their next shop if they could have purchased their items for more than 10% less at Tesco, Sainsbury's, Waitrose or Morrisons.

Asda guarantee they'll be at least 10% cheaper, not that they'll only pay out if Tesco et al. are more than 10% cheaper.

BIG potential own goal by Tesco:

The vouchers will remain valid for customers to redeem in Sainsbury's until 10 May, however Tesco has vowed to accept the Sainsbury's vouchers from today until 30 June.

.... and from 11 May until 29 June Sainsbury will give everyone £10 of vouchers for every £1 they spend. :rotfl:

I don't see the point in this. Sainsbury's are still accepting brand match vouchers issued on the last day for the full 2 week period. All this does is get disorganised people who forget to use the vouchers in the usual window into Tesco.
