Pension Simplicity - does it have to be so difficult?

    Its nothing like the end of the financial year, though different schemes might have different busy periods e.g. educational retirees will mostly retire at the end of the academic year etc.

    However, regardless, I think it would be wise to allow at least three months for the pension to be sorted - and probably more if it is in anyway complex.

    Often a simple request will be met with 'we will get back to you within three days'!!!!
