help me find trousers

hello!

I am looking for denim-looking formal trousers that are not jeans

they can be cotton, linen, wool, anything, but not jeans

M&S has some like that:
http://www.marksandspencer.com/pure-linen-luxury-single-pleat-trousers/p/p22453586?prevPage=srp

They describe the color as 'denim mix'

However I find them a bit too light colored, I wanted something darker, indigo-like

Can you help me find one please? It is extremely difficult to find as most results come up with actual jeans

thanks!

You could try dylon blue jeans dye with it.

The dylon dyes are very simple to use and are done with the washing machine.

They won't leach onto your skin either when you are wearing the clothes (or at least they never have with me).

I have found it sometimes simpler to dye than to find ready-made things sometimes, although it is a risk, of course.

You do realise that anything that isn't a natural colour (so most likely beige or grey) has been not just dyed but also bleached? It's normally the case that items have been dyed because the stores tend to want a uniform appearance of clothes, so unless you only shop for items which are 100% natural (eg not dyed any colour) you are wearing dyes which are a great deal more harsh than the Dylon type house-hold type dyes you can buy in places like John Lewis and Tesco.

If you want to try a patch test, you could test out a small amount of dye on a sample of fabric and then tape it to the inside of your elbow. Ignoring the plaster you have used to adhere the fabric with, you should be able to see any allergic effects pretty early on if there are any. It is already very likely though that if you do react to dyes from clothes that you already know what causes the problems and what to avoid. It's unlikely to be something that happens all of a sudden unless you have had a sudden change in things like your medication or similar.

If you are worried about skin problems which you feel could be connected to dyed items it would be worth contacting the brands where you have bought the clothes so you can try to work out which dyes you have problems with as in many cases different dyes will be made up from different chemicals and it's likely that you wont react to all of them for this reason. Keep a diary if you are having affects from the dyes from your shop bought clothes so you can try to work out what is causing you the problem.

Monsoon often has denim style trousers, not jeans. Sometimes MaxMara weekend too!

Why do you need it to look like denim? Won't that stop the trousers from looking formal?

Why not get some nice chinos instead? http://www.marksandspencer.com/cotton-rich-super-lightweight-chinos/p/p22430056?image=SD_03_T17_6140M_F0_X_EC_90&color=NAVY&prevPage=plp

Denim-look trousers always look awful. Either buy jeans or buy trousers.

chinos tend to have very hard and uncomfortable fabric, similar to demin, that's why I am more of linen or something similar
