London Marathon.

Just feeling sad for my daughter today, she had secured a life long ambition and got a place to run this years London Marathon.
She has been training hard, got to nearly her aim of £1000 fund raising then last week tripped in her overland run and went down with a bang, not so much o a problem, broken rib, bruises which are healing nicely and will be find by the day but the big stopper is that on Wednesday So no Marathon.....
her retina decided to detach.... so operation to mend it in two places. She is really upset about it all but she can defer it till next year.... but the irony is that she was raising funds for, Wait for it.....
Guide Dogs for the Blind.....grrrrr.

That is such a shame. I do hope that she can still run next year. I guess nothing worth waiting for comes easy.0
