Hi,
Title says it all really! My dentist has asked me to gargle with it to disinfect my wisdom tooth but I can't find it anywhere.
I've tried boots and superdrug and they have been sold out for weeks. Is it discontinued? anyone spotted it anywhere recently?!

It only takes a second to say 'Thanks, you just saved me a few quid!'

I was going to suggest trying local independant pharmacies but a quick 'google' found the above. hthDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

It does seem to be out of stock or unavailable just about everywhere. I can't see anything on google giving a reason why, though. It might be worth asking at your local chemists or on the amazon website?0

It's available through Ocado presently.
It's also listed on the manufacturer's website, so if you are having problems I'd contact them:

I would call the dentist and explain the predicament, there must be something else they can suggest
or ask around family and friends, someone probably has some languishing in the back of a cupboard they would give you.0 -
Try Poundland, I am sure I saw it there the other day"You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0

I was born in the 1950's and think TCP was the mainstay of everyone's medicine cabinet and used for a myriad of ailments. I remember that we gargled with it if we had a sore throat. Haven't used it in ages, thank goodness!0

I'm pretty sure I bought a bottle from Sainsbugs a month or so ago.0

I have a feeling that like gripewater (which is now back) there was a reason for its withdrawal from sale.
Would warm saltwater not suffice?0 -
It was amazing how much better I used to suddenly feel when my nan suggested 'TCP will do the trick!!'Dwy galon, un dyhead,

Tea tree oil has antiseptic properties. I put a drop in warm water , gargle then spit but this isn't advise just how I treat my sore throat.Life is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.0
