Which employers do offer non-probationary contracts in UK?

Hi
I would like to know which employers do offer non-probationary permanent contracts in UK?
I know its a common practice to have 3/6 months probation in standard contract.
But, nowadays there're few employers who have started giving non-probationary permanent contracts. (A rather good change!)
It can helpful for mid-level experienced professional who is just changing the job but also thinking of stability for stuff like mortgage etc..
I would like to make list of these employers especially for IT and project management roles.
Thanks
Cheers
Bob

Given that for the first two years you have zero statutory protection, outside of the protected characteristics, probation or not, you're on protection is contractual.0

Last place I worked at (huge Korean based company), did probation periods. However when they needed (fairly urgently) to recruit a senior manager (effectively head hunted him), he insisted on no probation period, which they agreed to.0

As Guest101 stated, even if you pass a 6 month or year, or 18 month probation, until you've worked somewhere over two years, they can turn around and say you have to leave. They can give any reason or no reason really, as long as it isn't something protected like, we've decided we don't want a woman / person your age / disabled / gay ... person doing your job.MFW OP's 2017 #101 £829.32/£5000
MFiT-T4 - #46 £0/£45k to reduce mortgage total
04/16 Mortgage start £153,892.45
MFW 2015 #63 £4229.71/£3000 - old Mortgage0 -
If you are any good at the job, then it won't matter whether there is a probation period or not. If you aren't then nothing will save you. There is no such thing as a permanent contact - just a contract that hasn't terminated yet.0

Yes in a true head hunting situation, if you are desirable enough, there are ways round "no protection for the first two years" issue but such situations are not very common.
It is sometime possible to negotiate minimum periods of employment, so called golden hellos and pre agreed severance packages that have to be paid regardless of fault.
But with all due respect to the OP, if you are in position to get employment on those sort of terms you would probably be getting your advice from a top employment lawyer and not a forum such as this!0
