Used these yesterday with only a minor problem, went in and ordered and gave the voucher in, he said you've printed this yourself, and i said i know, it's off your website. He trotted off to see someone, came back and said it was OK

They should really inform their workers each time vouchers come out...I mean did he really think you were trying to scam him/them for a burger? :rotfl:

Yes it is very annoying when a big company like Mcdonalds cannot be bothered informing their staff what they are doing as regards promotions, etc ,are concerned.
The staff seem to be never informed about anything.
The worst experiences I have had have been when they have a no purchace nessesary comps and trying to get through to the staff that you have a right to a free card or whatever is really hard.:eek:0 -

They are uninformed and they know it! I have in the past used that to my advantage!
A few years ago Maccys had some sort of special privilege card which gave a free big mac when you buy a big mac meal (or something like that). The card only had the name of the scheme on it and not the promotion it entitled you to.
Me and a mate had great fun making up our own offers and having them honoured! The Maccys staff were convinced by the flash of a card with their logo on it which they didn't recognise!
i.e.
"Oh yeah and and I have this card for a free desert when buying any burger. Apple pie please."
"Two McFlurrys please with the buy one get one free pass"
"Oh don't you know? This card give you a free upgrade to large meal"
"This months offer is a free drink when you buy any size fries"
We were shocked how often it work. One time we were on the floor laughing as we managed topushed for two free McFlurrys when purchasing just one! Even when the managers were called they sometimes agreed! If not then a couple of times we got away with "on the phone they said they've e-mailed all the non-franchised branches with the new offer...". :rotfl: :rotfl:They say you can't put a value on life... but I live it at half price!0 -
