Please help

Hi, looking for a quick advice and help.
My partner is divorced with 2 children both full time school. We normally have them few days every week and as we calculated comes up to about 100 days a year with holidays and other treats.
Recently he has been advised he has been paying more than required so he has done CSA online calculator which suggested that he hd been paying roughly £80 more based on details provided.
Up to this date there was a verbal agreement between him and his ex about payments. He send her a message with online calculations and said he will reduce payments.
He was then contacted by CSA as she reported he is not paying and told them that he does really have kids apart from few days a year which is a complete lie! CSA stated they need to believe her and therefore he will be paying roughly £150 more to what he was originally.
No matter what he says or does they will take into consideration in regards to how many nights they spend with us as long as she tells them he hasn't got them.
Is there anyone that could suggest Our next step please? We have a mortgage to pay for and kid on our way and just simply cannot afford £550 a month where we also spend money on them when they are here!
I just can't believe they will be completely one sided and make no action plan for him to be able to prove what he says and disprove her lies!

Many thanks

Realistically not much can be done.
Welcome to the one sided world of the CSA where evidence is only ever required from the NRP and can be ignored at will by the CSA anyway.

You are seriously up against it as proving something like that will be difficult if not impossible anyway. Particularly when the CSA ignore evidence such as payslips, P60, Letters from HR and company accountants etc in favor of one phone call from the PWC.

Well once child arrives you can lower the payments.

Getting a court order with appropriate contact will lower the payments too.

Thanks guys. Its just really bad how everything is in a taboru of one person only!
Will need to Consider court order to have days shown as with us as opposed to what she says. We just worried that this may cost more to what we can afford.

was that on the new child maintenance options calculator? or the old CSA version, they work out very differently. One is on gross pay and one is on net pay. Keep a diary so you can prove how often you have the children, and don't offer to pay out for anything else. Once your baby arrives, they payments will go down a bit.
Be who you are, say what you feel, those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind.
They say that talking to yourself is a sign of mental illness. So I talk to the cats instead.
