£2 off Nitty Gritty NitFree Comb during September - £8.99 including delivery

I've use their nitfree comb on my kids and its very good and I've seen it mentioned on here before but not at this price. I was forwarded an email from a friend with the voucher code "back2school". You can use this at checkout to get their nitfree comb with £2 off. So £8.99 including delivery. It says the voucher expires at the end of September - but by then you might have already caught them ;) so better to be prepared.

The link for the comb is http://www.nittygritty.co.uk/ng/index.jsp?page=/productInfo.jsp&productId=3

  • Great find but have already had mine for years.

So i can highly recommend it. it is the only nit comb that you will ever have to buy. I have had loads of plastic ones that the teeth break and similar metal ones that appear just as good but the teeth are not quite close enough to get the eggs out. OUGH you got me scratching just thinking about it.:rotfl: Please invest in this comb you will be doing yourself a favour and your child.

  • yep - I've got to agree with you there.

Plus I noticed from the site it comes with a life time guarantee (which I didn't know about) though mine hasn't broke yet :) I guess I can use it more vigourously without any worries.

I use the 'Bug Buster Kit' which is free on prescription. :D It has plastic combs of 3 widths, which is great for kids with very fine hair, like my daughter's. All the metal combs I tried left the baby headlice in, so the infestation was never cleared. Also comes with a very good booklet on what they look like and life cycle etc.
Definately the best I've ever got, even though my pharmacy did spend a week getting it (it has to come from the manufacturer rather than their wholesaler):o
  • the nitty gritty comb is excellent, there was an article about it in the mail a few weeks ago they called it the rolls royce of nit combs, i think you can also get them on prescription from the doctors

I can also recommend this comb. It's good at shifting those stubborn eggs which have already hatched and stick to hair like cement. Like another poster said you won't have to buy another.

I can echo this, I bought one and paid about £12 for it and then my sister found out you can get them free on prescription. She went to her doctors who gave her two, one for each of her children!!! so whatever happens
    DO NOT PAY FOR IT!!!!
I have also used it on my sister (she caught them off her children) and can say it worked very well. Highly recommended.:T
