Im employed 20 hrs week min wage, and just started self employment, 10hrs week, Im Under the tax limit but paying tax and national insurance.
How can I get a low earnings exemption please? Who do I call or what is the proceedure?
Do I have to pay tax every month and then try and get it back, or can I apply to stop paying it now?
Im definitely a non tax payer, Im under the limit.

Do you have a properly-allocated tax code or an interim tax code?
If you're being taxed at source (normal) then your tax code should define whether any tax is due.
NI is payable by all ... I don't think it is subject to any lower earnings limit. (I'm happy to be proved wrong).0 -

LEL £112 per week
PT £155 per week (no employees NI paid below this point)
