Leavers Bonus

Took VER last year from 30th June but still qualified for yearly PRB bonus which was set at 5% min.

So yesterday I emailed the old company to see what the PRB would be as I'm due 6 months. Reply was 2% leavers. :mad:

So is it worth pursuing and extra as I feel badly done to as I still put in the six months full time that qualified for the bonus. Could be as much as £620 before tax and more if the bonus is over 5%

    Probably better asking on the employment or redundancy boards.

    Have you got your agreement in writing, you should in any case be able to appeal it, though it could prove difficult to enforce. Employment tribunals would risk fees but you can speak to acas for guidance, also try your local cab.

    If you took redundancy in June last year then that around nine months ago so may be a problem with pro rata payment or similar but this depends on your contract of employment or written agreement.

    Waiting on old HR reply as nothing mentioned in leavers meetings we had. Hope they have it in black and white.
