Are Army Pensions Taxable?
Comments
-
Income + pension will still only come in the lower tax bracket and yes, employment salary was assigned to the 1069 tax code.
Ok, so this would indicate that you haven't paid enough tax last year and they are going to request it back this year at some point. The use of the T code is probably a sign that they have spotted it and are working on it.
There are multiple ways they can do this. most common is the higher income gets your tax code and the lower one gets a BR or 0T code.
You will likely see a deduction on the tax code this year as well to recover the tax you should have paid last yet.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
